Our 4th of July weekend

Clint and I got invited to a Basque party saturday night to kick off our 4th of July weekend. We had so much fun experiencing the Basque culure. I even danced with them which I'm sure was hilarious to watch because I had no idea what I was doing!
Sunday morning we woke up bright and early and got everything packed up to go camping. We went to this spot called Harrison Pass it was SO pretty!!
This is where we set up camp. We were really roughing it!
Me looking like a beaut on the 4 wheeler. haha
...Clint frollicing through the pasture of wild flowers. Isn't he cute!

We came home Monday morning, cleaned up from camping, then headed to the marina to meett up with some friends. We played games by the pond and had a BBQ while waiting for it to get dark. Then we set out blankets and watched the fireworks over the pond. What a fun 4th of July weekend :)

Early Birthday Trip :)

Mom and Eric had a two week break the end of June from Eric's chemo, so I took advantage and went out to Salt Lake to go shopping with mom with my birthday money :P
After arguing with Eric for 45 mins to get a picture with me, i'll take what I can get. lol
...and for the results of our shopping trip!!
...the latest house project (besides the decor) is gravel. We just got our first load of gravel moved and are waiting to recieve more. I'll post a pic soon!

Latest Project!

So Clint and I (okay okay mainly Clint), layed our very first cement pad...ourselves. It was a lot of work!
Clint putting Coopers paw print in the cement
All of our hands
Clint left Tonya right Tess left Cooper right
Our finished project!!

While we were letting the cement dry, we took Tess and Cooper over to the Marina which is about 1 mile away from our house. Tess is definately a water dog! We are such proud parents! haha
Cooper was not very patient for my picture. He really is cute and cuddly :)!
We are really enjoying being here in Elko! It's really sad being so far away from family, but at least we have eachother..and we are having a blast with our new house!

Our lizard

Look what we found in our basement! And no lizards don't eat dog food. So I was out on our deck catching a few rays and I took the lizard out with me, I look over and thought he was dead because he was laying on his back across a piece of dog food with his arms all stretched out, so I move the jar...nope he was tanning too! lol
